News zum TV-Deal zwischen Ring Of Honor und Destination America

Wie WrestlingCorner.de bereits berichtete, wird Ring Of Honor Wrestling ab Mittwoch, den 03. Juni 2015 immer Mittwochs unmittelbar vor IMPACT Wrestling auf Destination America ausgestrahlt werden, nachdem sich Destination America und Ring Of Honor überraschend auf einen Vertrag einigen konnten.

Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. hat nun in einer offiziellen Pressemitteilung bestätigt, dass der Deal zwischen Destination America und Ring Of Honor Wrestling vorerst auf 26 Wochen angelegt ist – mit Option auf Verlängerung.

Bei den besagten Ring Of Honor Wrestling Episoden auf Destination America soll es sich jeweils um Wiederholungen der Samstags-Erstausstrahlung von „ROH on SBG“ handeln.

SINCLAIR ANNOUNCES DISTRIBUTION DEAL FOR PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING PROMOTION, RING OF HONOR

BALTIMORE, MD (May 27, 2015) – Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) (the “Company”) announced that it has signed a national broadcast deal with Destination America, part of Discovery Communications, for the Company’s professional wrestling promotion, Ring of Honor (“ROH”). ROH will premiere on Destination America for 26 weeks beginning Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 8pm EST/7pm CST. The announcement was made by Joe Koff, Chief Operating Officer – Ring of Honor Wresting.
