Stuka Jr. vs. Kamaitachi

Nachfolgend die offizielle Mitteilung von Ring Of Honor:

Philadelphia will feel the AFTERSHOCK from BEST IN THE WORLD! Our return to the birthplace of ROH comes as a huge stop on the AFTERSHOCK TOUR on July 16th. All your favorite ROH stars will be there in action. We might have a whole new roster of champions after BEST IN THE WORLD and there’s no telling what will go down when Ring of Honor comes back to this legendary wrestling hotbed. PLUS, all of the action will be filmed for future episodes of ROH television! Just signed for July 16th:

KAMAITACHI VS. STUKA JR.

ROH fans were immediately impressed by KAMAITACHI from the very first moment he stepped into an ROH ring. They got behind the young star from NJPW and he seemed to embrace that support. But that all changed last week at BEST IN THE WORLD, live on pay-per-view!

There, Kamaitachi took on Kyle O’Reilly in a hard-fought battle that either man could have won. In the end, O’Reilly secured the victory and, in a show of respect for his opponent, asked for the traditional Code of Honor handshake. Shockingly, Kamaitachi refused! Angry and frustrated, he showed a side of himself ROH fans had never seen. Then, during a clash between The Addiction and Motor City Machine Guns, Kamaitachi reappeared to attack Jay White in the audience, giving Daniels and Kazarian the opening to score a win!

What are we supposed to make of this dishonorable new alliance between The Addiction and Kamaitachi? There’s no doubt we’ll learn more in the coming weeks, but a look at Kamaitachi’s history in Mexico offers some hints as to his true intentions. Competing in CMLL, first under a mask and then without, Kamaitachi was a notorious „rudo“ – a disrespectful, aggressive rule breaker. And we can now confirm that on July 16th in Philadelphia, Kamaitachi takes on someone from his past – STUKA JR.!

Stuka Jr. is a longtime competitor in CMLL, particularly known for his tag team achievements. He has also competed in Japan as part of NJPW’s Fantistica Mania tours. Stuka Jr. kept a close eye on Kamaitachi the entire time he was in Mexico and knows his tactics well. These two have faced off before as part of multiman tag matches, but in Philadelphia they go one-on-one!

Don’t miss your chance to be there for this and an entire night of ROH action!
