Last Man Standing Match
Silas Young vs. ACH

Nachfolgend die offizielle Mitteilung von Ring Of Honor:

The stars of RING OF HONOR return to Baltimore for AFTERSHOCK, as the fallout from the BEST IN THE WORLD pay-per-view will continue to be felt!

Baltimore has a rich pro wrestling history, and there’s no telling what might happen when the Best Wrestling on the Planet comes to Charm City!

Nigel McGuinness has agreed to a HUGE rematch in Baltimore. Two men that can’t stand one another will lock horns in a LAST MAN STANDING Match on Friday July 8!

LAST MAN STANDING
ACH vs. “PRO WRESTLING’S LAST REAL MAN” SILAS YOUNG

In Dearborn, MI, ACH and Matt Sydal teamed up to defeat Beer City Bruiser and Silas Young. The victory in front of the sold-out crowd was one of the duo’s biggest to date which made ACH’s statements following the match even more surprising. ACH thanked Sydal for being a mentor but noted that it was time for him to be his own man and to embrace being himself.

Those comments did not sit well with “Pro Wrestling’s Last Real Men”.

The curmudgeony ROH star was making his way back to the locker room when he overheard this display of emotion over the sound system. He would later say it made him ill. Just a few weeks prior in West Warwick, Young railed against “cartoon character” wrestlers, naming ACH and Cheeseburger before defeating Delirious that night. It became clear that ACH had gotten under his skin.

During ACH’s bout against Lio Rush on Ring of Honor television, Young let the world know just how he felt about men who play video games and “watch cartoons”. ACH let Young’s taunts, heard in interviews and commentary on the Road to Best in the World shows, roll off his back and got the better of Young, advocating for fans to be themselves and embrace their passions before defeating Young live on pay-per-view!

But the two men can’t stop taunting one another. Both had to be separated in the ROH locker room following their bout and have taken to social media all but petitioning for McGuinness to sign the duo in another bout. A very public challenge was made over Twitter!

And for Baltimore, Nigel made it so: the two will face each other in a last man standing match!

For Young, it is an opportunity to punish someone who he has accused of acting like a child. For ACH, just ahead of his first trip to Japan, he has an opportunity to put away one of his biggest foes! You’ll have to be in Baltimore to see it live! You don’t want to miss the hard-hitting, fast-paced, in-your-face action of ROH live!
