Back in May during the War of the World’s tour, it appeared that Adam Page was coming to the aid of the Briscoes and the Motor City Machine Guns in their quest to get revenge on Bullet Club on behalf of ROH. Bullet Club told the live crowd in Dearborn that Page would not be competing in the ten-man tag later that night because they had invited him to a Super Kick Party.

It was just another piece of deception from Bullet Club.

Page was not hurt and he also never had any intention of fighting Bullet Club. No, that night, Page attempted one of the most disgusting acts in Ring of Honor history, attempting to hang Chris Sabin after pledging his allegiance to Bullet Club.

Since then, Page has been on a quest in singles competition to injure Ring of Honor’s top stars, keeping his noose handy. In Toronto, Page sought to dismember Colt Cabana and then inflicted damage to ROH World Champion’s then-injured knee in Columbus. The dangerous Hangman has his sights set on another top star in Philly: Dalton Castle.

Castle had his first pay per view championship opportunity at Best in the World but came up short against World Television Champion Bobby Fish. One of the most popular stars in Ring of Honor, Castle will have one eye on Page and another ringside on the lookout for Bullet Club.

Is Page’s end game in Philadelphia to secure a win over one of ROH’s top stars or to simply maim one?A win over Page, who is coming off success in six-man competition in his first tour of New Japan, will help put Castle firmly back in the ROH World Television championship hunt.
