Ring Of Honor hat nun für den ROH „Death Before Dishonor XIV“ Pay-Per-View am Freitag, den 19. August 2016 und dem ROH „Death Before Dishonor XIV: TV-Taping“ am Samstag, den 20. August 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito & Evil) offiziell bestätigt.

Nachfolgend die offizielle Mitteilung von Ring Of Honor:

The stars of Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling will share the stage in the Fight Capital of the World when The Best Wrestling on the Planet returns to Las Vegas Aug. 19th and 20th for Death Before Dishonor XIV.

NJPW will be represented by their top competitors at both Friday’s pay-per-view and Saturday’s national TV taping.

The next NJPW stars confirmed for that weekend’s huge events are Tetsuya Naito and Evil (formerly known to ROH fans as Takaaki Watanabe) of Los Ingobernables de Japon.

Naito is undoubtedly one of the most skilled and charismatic competitors in the world, but he also is one of the least honorable. The epitome of a rulebreaker, Naito will stoop to any depths to win a match and he has no respect for anyone or anything.

After winning the prestigious IWGP Heavyweight Championship from Kazuchika Okada in controversial fashion this past April, Naito showed during his two-month reign that he couldn’t care less about the importance of the title or the athletes who held it before him, as he carelessly tossed the championship belt around as if it was nothing more than a meaningless prop.

Naito hasn’t always been this way. He played by the rules for most of his career, but despite his success, the fans in NJPW never truly embraced him until, ironically, he stopped trying to gain their affection.

While on a tour of Mexico in 2015, Naito joined the villainous Los Ingobernables and underwent a shocking transformation. Naito returned to Japan with a new look and attitude and formed Los Ingobernables de Japon shortly thereafter.

Naito made his ROH debut on the 2015 War of the Worlds tour, defeating Michael Elgin and Kyle O’Reilly on successive nights.

In addition to the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, Naito has held the NEVER Openweight Championship, IWGP Tag Team Championship and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. He also won the 2013 G1 Climax tournament and the 2016 New Japan Cup.

He made his ROH pay-per-view debut at Global Wars 2015, where he unsuccessfully challenged Jay Lethal for the ROH World Television Title. At Global Wars 2016, Naito again defeated O’Reilly.

Naito and Lethal joined forces this past May when they faced reDRagon (O’Reilly and Bobby Fish) on a War of the World event, and the two superstars are scheduled to team together again in August for NJPW.

ROH fans are familiar with Watanabe from his numerous matches in the company in 2014 and 2015, but he is a very different man since joining Los Ingobernables de Japon and being renamed “King of Darkness” Evil by Naito.

As his new moniker indicates, Evil is much more sinister and dangerous than the man ROH fans remember.
