WWE bekundet großes Interesse an UFC-Fighter Conor McGregor / Triple H bei UFC 205

Dave Meltzer, der am Samstag, den 12. November 2016 beim „UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor“ Pay-Per-View in New York City anwesend war, gab am Sonntag, den 13. November 2016 in einer Textnachricht an Bryan Alvarez im Wrestling Observer Radio bekannt, dass die WWE sehr an einem Auftritt vom UFC Featherweight & UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in ihren Shows interessiert sein soll – vermutlich einem Auftritt bei RAW oder einem Auftritt bei WrestleMania 33.

Weiter wird berichtet, dass Triple H am Samstag, den 12. November 2016 beim „UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor“ Pay-Per-View in New York City in der Zuschauermenge saß und live vor Ort dabei zugesehen haben soll, wie der 28-jährige Conor McGregor durch seinem UFC Lightweight Championship Titelgewinn Geschichte geschrieben hat und somit der erste UFC Champion geworden ist, der zwei Titel aus zwei Divisionen gleichzeitig trägt.

Möglicherweise hat Triple H im Rahmen des „UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor“ Pay-Per-Views auch bereits schon erste Gespräche mit UFC-Präsident Dana White und anderen UFC-Offiziellen geführt, um UFC-Fighter Conor McGregor für einen Auftritt im WWE-TV gewinnen zu können. Es bleibt abzuwarten, was sich diesbezüglich innerhalb der kommenden Wochen und Monate tun wird.

Conor McGregor schrieb bekanntlich bereits schon im Laufe dieses Jahres Pro Wrestling-Schlagzeilen, als er während der Q&A Session zu UFC 202 zum verbalen Rundumschlag gegen einige WWE Superstars & Legenden ausholte. Nachfolgend einige seiner damaligen Aussagen im Überblick:
